And there you go... the why...

I figured it was a good nod to the Bungie dudes to have him mad with power ^^ I hope that doesn't disappoint anyone. This is a backward no-account camp with backward no-account problems.

The man is selfish. He's been running this camp as he's wanted to without regard for rules or standards and he's not about to stop now. He reminds me a lot of my grandfather in that respect.... not the corrupt part, but the childish part.

Now I'm not much of an expert on leadership, but shouldn't one of Captain's top priorities as... well, as Captain be the well-being of his troops? Just something I'm throwing out there.

Anyway-- another wonderful, solid page. I really adore the perspective / camera angle (of sorts) in panel two.

Aaaand there goes my last respect for the captain. If he´d want to protect the company from the mess and destruction that spartans and the like cause, okay, everyone can understand that. But he is just like a big spoiled child, which not only makes him an unlikeable person, but also unfit for any position of power.

Wow... the reasoning is solid; all those who have power crave more power and to keep it.
