Welp it's Rapture Day... for the Covenant! Welcome back Chief!

Now before you all start yelling at me about how inaccurate his suit is please hear me out... I based it off the bastardization I drew back on page 1.

Here is as good a time to make this official as any - Chief isn't wearing Mark VI armor in this comic. He's wearing something like a MarkV.5. I decided this probably 200 pages ago.

It looks very much like Mark VI armor someone (me six years ago) was too lazy to pull up a reference for. It was designed with ease in mind - it can fit in a locker, it can be lifted by an average human, it can be removed without the aid of a robot... It's my fancy schmancy convenience suit. The plot device model.

And obviously it was not deemed a success because we're right back to the tougher model in Halo2. I'd like to think this tiny battle here is it's trial by fire. Chief wouldn't prize convenience over safety, we all know this.

There, that'll answer all the questions and complaints about how inconsistent i've been with halo tech hahahaha!

Let the bloodbath commence.

Despite you description I really didn't see a difference.

You know the avrage human will not notice something 95% of the time in a drawing or movie until you point it out. Our brains are weird like that and don't give a damn xD I mean yes I noticed flaws in the design but I really didn't catch all of it until you pointed it out that you screwed it up xD

I can't tell you how many times badass music has gotten me killed in gaming. They start playing this stuff and suddenly hiding behined a rock while the NPCs are splatterd by plasma granades waiting for my shields to recharge doesn't seem cool enough.

Ironically, what you described (and drew) is an actual canonial suit; the MJLONIR MK V/L (for "Light"). It was never really used by Spartans, but it's a real suit.

It is. Accidental canonialism is hilarious.

Sounds like Tony Stark's "Ironman in briefcase" style of armor. Good for taking on vacations.

:dummy: That's so awesome!

Also: Can we get a view of the fight from Chief view? That would also be awesome.
