There we go - up to date!
I know it's kind of difficult to read what's happening here, and I hate to explain my pages in the descriptions because the book should speak for itself, but to make this more clear I'd have to go back in time and add stuff which I swore long ago not to do. So here's what's happening.
The pod has turned the computer system into a weapon against the ship with AI magic. Panel 1 is in the bay with the chief, panel 2 is in the engine room (because there is an engineer there... see!) panel 3 is in the cockpit and panel 4 is obviously outside.
