Fence by jameson9101322 Fence by jameson9101322
A fence near my Grandmother's house in Campbellesville Kentucky

I remembered this image yesterday while I was out snapping photos. I realize I really like taking photos of entrances. Windows, doors... things that are a pathway to something else. Even though you can see straight past it, there is no way to know what could be beyond this gate. A field? I forest? A house? A magical land? In reality it's an overgrown tree farm... but the only way to know that is if I told you (sorry for breaking the effect there)

Still you see what I mean. I love doors, every one has the potential for adventure.

Its an adorable little town, very country but not necessarily rural. It's full of memories.

My dad does that. He loves taking pictures of interesting doors. Painted ones, hand carved ones, or just odd or pretty ones in general. Though, his pictures are all in arizona, so nothing is this greeeeeenn....

He does. ^^ I wanted him to get some professionally printed so we could hang them, but I guess he never had the time.

Taht would be a great present. Take a couple to Kinkos... their color printing is real inexpensive. Better yet take them to Sams' photo center. I print art there for, like, a buck and a half.

Office Max is where I normally go. They're REALLY cheap. >.> well, depending on what size or how many you want. And the cool thing is, if they didn't turn out right, you don't have to pay for them.

I have the same feeling about locked doors. I must know what's inside! You never know what you'll find until you open it! Even if it does just turn out to be a closet full of paint. XD

Probably the lot number? It's a vacant lot behind some guys house where he was growing Christmas Trees that no one bought so now it's just a mini evergreen forest next to his house.
