I'm going to see the movie for the third time tomorrow for my birthday! I love it, but nothing is perfect. Knowing it so well now, though, I stopped to think about what the original versions of the caracters would think of their movie incarnations. As it is, Ironhide is the only one enjoying himself. I think Bumblebee would approve of his portrayal except for the fact that he's always getting the short stick (he did beat the crap out of Barricade though). Ratchet is indifferent to his or Jazz's outcome in the movie... but he has a point. there were some awful black stereotypes in the movie used for comedy... and Jazz is the only black tf and he's the only one who dies. Connecting dots here. And Poor Optimus... yes, he always gets his butt kicked. Just as sure as Starscream always makes it out alive.
Oh and I appreciate all the suggestions, but I'm not going to do a decepticon version because most the decepticons were either a, made up for the movie, or b, improperly named (I'm looking at YOU Devestator!) Maybe for the next movie.
Yes, he did get his can handed to him by Megatron, but in all fairness, he killed that street-sweeperr transformer (I forget his name), and he put up an excellent fight against Megs.
Perhaps you should do a sequel pic to show the decepticons...
But Starscream didn't make it out alive in the cartoon movieeeeee!!!!!
I love Starscream...
ON topic now, this picture rocks! I did one like it when the Phantom of the Opera movie came out. I agree with a previous poster, you should do one for the Decepticons too
Yes, but you haven't gotten to the third season of TF yet have you!?! Starscream is not out of the picture yet by a long shot.
The Decepticon one would be easy.
Megatron: I am so badass
Starscream: I am so badass... why don't I get more lines? I'm the true villian of this film!
Blackout: Who am I?
Barricade: Who am I?
Devestator: Me so small!!!

Optimus always gets his can whupped, he's just an unlucky guy. Its part of his charm I think... how the other Autobots all love him so much even though Megatron is technically stronger than he is in a fight. Most of his weakness is distraction though... he's always trying to protect humans when Megs is soley trying to strip the paint off him.
Decepticons would be fun except I've never actually seen the show versions of Barricade and Blackout. Frenzy'd get a kick out of being in the movie though. Starscream wouldn't take his tongue lashing lightly since he gets, like, no lines and barely any airtime.

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

<Hork-Bajir, come on out,> I said firmly. Slowly the big creature crawled out. He stood erect, blinking in the dim evening light.
"Not Hork-Bajir," he said. "Jara Hamee. My name. Jara Hamee."
I loved the movie, though.
I love Starscream...

Likes how Optimus Prime slumps in his theater seat with a big popcorn can between his legs!
