While I'm currently representing a yaoi club (d'ur!), I completely understand and respect your take on Gojyo and Hakkai. And you are a fantastic artist. This is a wonderful rendering of the two of them--I like how you kept it in your own style without making them unrecognizable as themselves, you know what I mean?

Clearly, there are many louts who think "OMG if they're not bonking each other then there is no point", given that this pic hasn't gotten many hits at all. I don't think it deserves that treatment. It's a gorgeous bit of art, and you are quite talented. Deserves more recognition, don't you know? I hope it's okay that I add your work into the club's faves... If not, let me know and I'll remove it.

It's so funny that I'm EXACTLY the way you are. I absolutely LOVE the whole best friends thing without the romantism. I like it from time to time when it's not too serious or whatever but I'm totally in love with the idea of people being so close and caring about each other, but at the same time having it not be related to romance. Aw thanks! Yes, brothership, father/mentorship, all that jazz, it puts me in tizzies. Unfortunately any sort of caring is stolen and twisted by fandom. And I don't claim to be innocent of this... I've got my fair share of fanpairings that I love SOOO much that I forget they aren't canon. But I've got my collection of platonic relationships that I love too ^^
