101 Kirby - The Brave Little Toaster

Okay okay, blame me for having a crush on a vacuum, but Kirby is one of those characters that compel me to watch their media over and over again. Forgetting the fact that he's an appliance, he's my favorite trope of grouchy-old-dude-determined-not-to-let-anyone-know-how-much-he-loves-them. I could describe all the places in the movie where he exhibits these traits, but it's one movie, you might as well watch it. It's one of those kids' movies with enough sophistication that grown ups don't feel like they're being lobotomized. It's a classic of my childhood, they don't make 'em like that anymore!

Yes! TBLT was a big part of my childhood!

Even though that Kirby was never really one of my favs, he was still a decent character.

Now that I dawn on the subject, he kind of reminds me of Doc Hudson from Cars...
