MacMillan: "You know, you really shouldn't be drinking with a head wound."
Kurt: "I've had worse."
Two soldiers nipping off for a pint after getting patched up. I'm thinking MacMillan's been injured for a longer period of time, his bruises are healing. Kurt probably just rolled in off the front. He took a heavy hit on the left side. He's got lots of open wounds and extensive bruising there. He's a little wreckless and was more than likely out of armor for whatever reason.
These guys are hot, and I worked a long time on them. I enjoyed painting their abs and their bruises.
Look. I just finished "Ghosts of Onyx". And I go looking for pictures of Kurt. And I find THIS. And I experience this strange deja vu where I'm always coming up to you going "I wasn't a diehard fangirl before....but now."
I wasn't a diehard fangirl before...
I love how you've made Kurt look different from your Chief and I love how he looks younger and friendlier. And I love how you tattoo your Spartans with their numbers. I'm stealing that for Noble Team, kay? (A while ago I wanted them to have their team numbers as tattoos, but now that I realize you've been doing it with their actual name-numbers or whatever you call it I don't want you to think I really am stealing the idea. But I kinda am. Anyway...)
Long comment is long and you're the best and I'm just going to pretend that Kurt survived and this happened and he's just chillin' in space. With Jorge. (And I have no idea who MacMillan is and in the thumbnail for a second I thought he was your Chief and I was like eeeeee.)
Go ahead and stick the numbers on Noble team! If I had a distinguishing number I'd tattoo it on.... heck that's about the only thing I probably would ever risk a needle repeatedly inking my skin. I'm such a phobic!
Re Kurt surviving... in fanfic anything is possible!
Yeah, I'm a big fan of tattoos on other people. I don't think I'd ever get one myself. Cause the Normandy in ink is cool when you're in your twenties, but when you're eighty...
Hoo-ooot! Not fair You have to draw Dryden like this lol. I love the technique Jame. I love your style; so natural and organic, lovely and loose and energetic, but keeping everything so tight and tidy here-it's beautiful!
