Pink Vases by jameson9101322 Pink Vases by jameson9101322
I got a great response when I asked if anyone wanted to see more of my photography. I pursue it as a very occasional hobby, but I'm not horrible at it. I'm apparently a fan of glass.

These two pink vases have sat on the windowsill at my grandparents' house for as long as I can remember. I took this picture on a photoramble trying to capture memories while they were still intact before the house is disassembled. Don't worry, I'll only share the ones with high artistic value ^^

Oh...Oh God!! It's wonderful!!! :excited: :excited:
The prespective and view are SO gorgeous!!! :excited:  Again! The angle from which you took the pic's PERFECT! :excited: Your pics are very original, you take pics from perspectives that we don't see very often! From this angle you can see the vases very well, and one can appreciate the detail and the smothness and brightness of them, love the detail in this pic! look at that brightness, and those little bubbles there! I love the fact the vases look so pretty, like some beautiful seashells! :aww: :iconiloveitplz: ...I'm kinda a fan of glass indeed :giggle:
Loved it! And in general, love your style to take photos! Your photos look so natural and spontaneous! :excited: They are very...Cozy! From everyday life! :D they have a very casual, laidback looking, and that just great! :excited: The pics feel fun, amused to see, pleasant, and not like many the photos taken in a studio "by professionals" which usually look very rigid and boring, and I think it's because you have much fun taking them! :excited:
Oh boy! Seeing your photos, and specially hearing you saying you had a lot of fun taking them makes me feel so excited! :excited: It kinda reminds me when I used to be an enthusiastic fan of photography (well, I still am!...but I can't take photos anymore..) because I used to take photos from perspectives that people usually don't take, and of things many people always overlook. For example, I remember when I was a child, one day my family and me went to a restaurant for a party of one of my parent's friends, and while everybody were taking pictures the people and the tables, I saw a SO GORGEOUS and amazing stick insect!! :dawwplz: so I took pics of him. And later then I showed my photos to the guests at the party and they seemed to like my photos more than those about the party :XD:
Aww, that was my hobby for a time, I loved it so much and it gave me a lot of fun *sigh* ...and like another enthusiastic photographer I used to bring my camera everywhere! :XD: and my parents always told me "leave that thing! Why do you always have to bring it everywhere?!!" my family kinda made fun of that =P But I knew to bring a camera on hand was really cool, because if my family, and me were going to some place and saw something wonderful, like a cool animal or something we hadn't seen before, they always knew I had my camera and at the end they themselves were the ones who said "Hey, take this!" :XD: and I was very pleased with that :giggle: cos I never lost anything good!...but of course, it wouldn't last forever...later my camera was useless, and my parents didn't wanted to buy me another, they said taking photos as a hobby was...well....useless :O...I think if I would continued taking taking photos until now, now I probably would be like those popular photographers here who I watch, but who knows :srugh: my sister has a sony camera, but she doesn’t borrow it to anyone…also rarely use it  but still, better I would like to save to buy a Nikon, or a Canon. I always wanted to have a real good camera, and macro lents :excited:….oh, anyway, this has nothing to do with the pic =P…probably you will wonder “what are you talking about?” or something  I’m just so glad to know you had fun taking these photos :excited: and to see photos from you! You know, it seems like you were already taken photos for a pretty good time, I mean, your pics are pretty good to be an occasional photographer :wow:

You should put some of your old pictures up! THese are from back in 2005, so you can't use the excuse that your pictures are old. I'd like to see your stick insect ^^

I did take a photography class in Highschool and a couple at summer school. They focused more on film developing, but i learned a lot about theory as well. And I also learned to love taking close up pictures of things people don't normally look at. I had a great photo of the insides of a motorcycle that I think I threw away by accident, but the details were so crisp. I love taking pictures of manmade things, I think there's beauty in everything if you look at it the right way.

This somehow reminds me of glass making beach sort of thing. Aren't I wonderful with words? Like crystal seashells! The window in the back sort of takes away from the ambiance though. I also love how they only look like vases only if you stare hard enough and are told they are vases.

You know, at first glance, this looks like a picture of a toilet. Namely yours. For future reference.

I love the angle you caught them in, they almost look like some kind of alien flower.
Very cool.
