Just got back from Cirque du Soleil's Quidam show. It was SO good. If you ever get the chance to go see Cirque I thuroughly recommend it.

In the story the quidam (the headless guy, he's a reoccuring character, he symbolizing a passerby unnoticed) actually gets a forward role in that he gives a little girl a magical hat that lets her use her imagination. That's what I understood anyway.. .it was all very surrealistic. But I drew this real quick before going to sleep because its been a couple days since I posted. Enjoy

This picture is so sweet and beautiful! I always loved Quidam but have never been able to see it live. I've only seen Varekai, Dralion, Alegria and just this Sunday I saw Kooza [which I highly recommend, It was so amazing!]

Man I'm jealous! Quidam is the only one I have ever seen, it was quite an experience though. I'd love to see other shows

I bet I'm more jealous of you. Seeing Quidam on TV was what got be so enthralled with Cirque. I so wish I could see it. I'm lucky to have seen so many shows because I live quite close to Montreal.

I always wanted to runway and join the circus, since I was 4 when Ringling Brother's Barnum & Bailey Circus came through my town and set up on our football field. When I saw Quidam for the first time it brought back those memories and I totally identified with Zoe.

I saw Quidam when I was a kid! Thus began a life-long love of Cirque du Soleil. I never thought of doing fanart though. Brava!

Quidam will, of necessity, always be my favorite. I also reccomend Varekei, Alegria and La Nouba, all of which I own on DVD. Quidam's still the only one I've actually SEEN seen. *sigh*

You got to see one live!? Lucky brat, I loved the cirque for years! But I only ever get to see the recordings. Ah my dear recorded-off-the-tv tapes, I've loved them till the silver was worn off the film. Sigh.

Quiddam is magnificent, yes. My personal favorite is Varekai.
