I've always wanted to draw this picture... Soundwave and his cassettes being all cute together. I think the cassettes really do love him... I mean how could you not, and I think he really likes them back. They are some of the few robots that actually "belong" to each other since robots don't really have family in the human sense.

Since we're discussing "family" moments I can't help but think about that scene in the movie after Starscream kicks Megatron out of AstroTrain and there's that flux where everyone's trying to figure out who's going to be leader.When one of the constructicons calls Soundwave an uncharismatic bore, what do we hear but Rumble and Frenzy coming to his aid. And I quote:

Hey! Nobody calls Soundwave "unchrasamatic"!
"Yeah! Let's kick tailgate!

You can't tell me there isn't a connection somewhere.

Awwww, so precious. :aww: Like a lot of people before me have said, the Cassettes are definitely Soundwave's kids. As I recall / recently learned watching an episode from season 3 (please don't shoot me for willingly watching anything post-1986 movie), he absolutely flipped his lid when Blaster erased his tapes. It's kind of like, "Yeah, we get that the key to Decepticon victory was on those tapes but getting it again wouldn't be THAT hard..." (And oddly enough, you never saw the Cassettes after that. o_o) You don't freak out like he did if you just lost something that didn't mean that much to you.

Anyway, before I start babbling incoherently, I adore this picture. Soundwave and the Cassettes all look so sweet and happy. :love:

Carnage in C Minor was the title, I think. All the aliens talked in these (high annoying >_< ) sing-song type voices.
