Been working on EbonSpire all day and keeping up with the frighteningly uncertain news of Beyond Good and Evil2 [link]
All I can think about is... what have we and Ancel and everyone been through for this franchise? We played and loved the first game, then mourned its death as a serial property, then were delighted last year by UbiDays' teaser trailer only now to hear "may or may not" It's enough to wear you out.
personally, I see Detoc's announcement optimistically. He says he believes in the the property and that he would like to develop it. He's probably just covering his tail in light of the leaked game footage and the persistent not-green-lightedness of the project.
I'm hopeful that we'll get this game, its just a matter of when, how much longer we have to wait and how much further we have to go...
